History/Background:

Lester L. Lien joined Pac-Link in 2005. His expertise is in the fields of gene regulation and cellular development. Prior to that, Lester worked for PRM, a venture capital company focused on private and public biotechnology investments. PRM invested in 2 private ((both of which have gone public since 2004) and managed a portfolio of public biotechnology companies during its operation from 2001-2003. He also was a senior business development analyst for emerging biotechnology startup focused on application of biomimetic designs to multifunctional biomedical and industrial products. Before that, Dr. Lien was investment manager of Cheng Xin Venture Capital Corp. The company has $158M in total under its management, and investment fields including biotech, energy, electronics, optoelectronics, communications, information technology and software.

Dr. Lien received his BS in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard College . He earned his PhD in Molecular Genetics from Harvard University .
