Oplink to Supply Corning with Passive Optical Components

12/13- Oplink Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPLK), announced it has signed a one-year supply agreement with Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) to provide innovative passive optical components used in state-of-the-art communications networks. The contract has a potential value of $40 million. Oplink will supply Corning with optical isolators and tap couplers, used in erbium-doped fiber amplification (EDFA) systems
